rudder/prop system question

    would 2 rudders in between 3 counter rotating props be a good set up?

    Not really. You would be better off with two on the wash of the two outboard ones.

    not rlly sure what you mean, im stuck on 3 engines 3 props

    Three propellers are installed one in the center and two outboard.

    For a good rudder responsiveness at low boat speeds, you need them to work inside the propeller wake, where the water flows at higher speed. So, as Gonzo said, it is desirable to place rudders behind the prop. Whether there will be 2 (leaving one prop without) or 3 rudders, that's your choice.
