Help please identifying powerboat! (identified as a pacemaker)

    There were heaps of grp boat builders in perth in the 70's. Most are gone. Its not a 60's style. I would guess 80's which means it won't have a hin. The rego number is your best chance of I.d without the hin.

    I have transferred heaps of boats and never been asked to fit a hin to an old boat. Thats not to say they have not cracked down on it now though. Some of my boats had it already
    But plenty didn't.

    If you bought the boat as an unregistered project he does not have to supply a hin.

    The plot thickens, rang DOT and they don't have that rego number on file, could be from the east? The lady said sign a stat dec and get a HIN as a new boat. Then it can be registered.

    Good news jake. It is an odd looking rego number. Must have been some type of commercial thing. Don't forget to post some pics when you get her back together.

    I thought the hull looked like a pacemaker but the topsides looked different. Did you find out from the rego or did someone recognize it.
