self righting boats

    Hello: I opened a can of Worms. careful what you ask for you may get it LOL . i know it applies best to certain boat shapes. you can call up my boat project to see my Can of Worms. Search Amphibians to check it out , self righting maybe not!! thanks Rick

    Yes, quite impractical to retrofit a sea skiff. What Gonzo said is what is needed, and is very easy to achieve in a custom boat. If you look at lifeboats and ocean rowing boats they have quite a bit of sheer and highly cambered decks both ends,and self drainin cockpit in the middle, they couldn't stay inverted if you wanted them to, don't need no stinkin roll bar.
