Hi can anyone one help I have osmasis really bad i started drilling it out however i came to the conclusions that i need to stip the gell coat off in order to dry the boat out which i am in the process of doing. I have the gelcoat two pack resin to re-do the boat however do i need anythink to coat the fiberglass first like a sealent or something before i start gelcoating or can i start gelcoating straight on to fiberglass once dried out
    Thanks
    Any advice is much appritiated:)

An epoxy barrier coat such as interprotect by interlux followed with bottom paint is the usual way to go. Why bother with gelcoat?
