    Hi Everyone.
I'm doing a small towing tank project(20*2m) for an university. It involves designing and construction of a towing tank with the least amount. I would be very glad if anyone would help me in this.

Did you start working and tank testing with your students and have you got any interesting results?

@DCockey thank you for the interesting link!

Ensure a good solid construction and careful location (consider failure modes)- failure in one of the end walls of a 20x2x1 tank would launch a 40 ton mini tsunami...

There is a story of a small boat show where they used a large outdoor 'temporary' swimming pool for remote control boats - with hindsight it probably ought not to have been uphill from the stand selling self inflating life jackets...

Depending on local regs you may also have to notify your local fire brigade too - 10,000 gallons could be a real life saver in an emergency.

After several typhoons, I had to drain the tank last month to do some minor repairs to the ground and tank. Being exposed to extremes in weather doesn't help!
