We have about 200 Dell Latitude D505's in our company. They have proved to be reliable workhorses. Of all the laptops we have tried, these have been some of the best in terms of ergonomics and performance. A spare battery sometimes is useful!

    Good luck.

I have a Sony Vaio PCG-K37, works great. Have had it for a year now with no problems.
