Jacking could also refer to putting the boat on stands.

That's what a survey is for: to tell the owner what maintenance items need addressing while on dock.

Puzzling the way people involved in commercial operations ask vague questions on an internet forum. You blokes will be to blame if he misses something on the checklist !

No more heard from the OP, obviously being held in a secure facility where you are allowed only one phone call or electronic message. Judging by the number of similar threads, the facility is well populated.

He probably meant this, a jack up rig. The legs are stowed on deck and are assembled by connecting/lengthening/jacking up, on site. It is towed to the site by tugboat(s). This is a common view in the gulf area with the rig lining the skyline. Here you see the jack up in the harbor awaiting repair, maintenance, or survey.

A smaller one is called a jack up barge.

Just to give you an idea of size, this is a part of a leg in the unfinished state.

I,m looking for a check list like the attachment. jack up rig is different from a ship and it has many different equipments. I like to use a repair shipyard,s experience which repair jack up rigs.

The check list is typical of a surveyors "code". Here is a much more detailed list of a typical survey. http://thuledrilling.files.wordpress.com/2011/10/bevis-29-b.pdf

You will need a marine surveyor to do the job first like somebody from Noble Denton.

As for shipyard repairs, it depends on where the rig is as it needs to be towed. I see much rig in Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Seems there are a lot of shipyards especializing on repairs of oil rig.
