A sight glass to check for vapors? An auto radiators/electric fans to vent said vapors? You'd know if the carb had flooded and created puddles on the engine because the engine won't start? Engines won't run with leaking systems? There are no ignition sources if an engine doesn't start?

I'm not too sure about all that being good ideas.

the carb has a metal box (bottom tween carb and manifold) flooding could occur in box only and drain to outside hull. the engine could run badly on flooded carb( to high a float level) so you would know there is a problem.
cranking engine to start could make sparks enough to ignite vapours. extra out vents could vent expanding ignited vapours to some degree ( you need a contained area to really cause violent explosion, hope it vents to some degree if it happens? so , check frequently for vapours, leaks in fuel system.

Some images of lovely traditional boats very suitable for " Safe Remote Fuel System for Boats" Just imagine one of these craft with a completely safe fuel system.. including the fuel tank. Ready to go. And you can do it yourself.

Make them even better with a trimable shaft drive (Pivotal Drive) so they are easier to transport (lower on trailer) and launch. And you can run them in Surface Drive or Subsurface Drive using the one drive unit.

Do not forget that Hydrogen is produced from charging batteries and if mixed with air just a little can lift you off your feet, that needs to be delt with too.
