    The boat is reasonably fast, the taller rig ( 10,65 main) is much better in light wind. You can find the specifications on sailboatdata.com. Also on Carter Owners Association on FB. I race the boat with the smaller rig with a No 2 gennoa and in Force 4-5 you can see 6,5 - 7,2 nm easily. You can contact me at Yorgos Doumas on facebook or george_doumas@yahoo.gr.

    I own Steve's Carter 33' My name is Dan Ladrigan and the Carter 33 is in my dooryard. Questions call 207-546-3782 The boats name is Karpouzi and was built at Olympic Yachts 1972.
