smallest kicker for a 20' whaler

    A fuel additive is crucial in any fuel tank, marine or otherwise.
    There are some very economical ones out there.
    Also keeping your tank(s) topped up is hugely helpful providing they are properly sized.
    Rotating (transferring) the fuel every six months would be a prudent move too.
    Well, worth the added effort as fuel issues are the leading cause of recreational distress calls.
    I see three options for you as a result of advise in your thread:
    1) a small auxiliary outboard 6 - 8HP
    2) a SeaTow membership
    3) improving the reliability of your main system, ex. filters, fuel additive, back-up fuel system, etc.
    My choice would be options 2 & 3, but I'm not you, or more succinctly, you're not me...
