mchl, congratulations on all the work you've done.
I never said that the program is good or bad, because I do not know it. What I say is that "the advertising is misleading."
References like yours are what can lead us to purchase the program. Misleading advertising can only sow distrust in the prospective customer.

    MAAT Hydro+

I'm another user of MAAT Hydro+ since the beginning of its development. As MCHL we produced a lot of stability booklets in these years, approved by many different CS. We never had complaints regarding the quality of the calculations. Some of the CS are using hydro softwares still based on transversal sections definition and have very much appreciated the quality of the MAAT Hydro+ ouputs.

redseng, I insist, once more, that I do not say that the program is good or bad. What I say is that advertising is made of it is misleading.

I am teaching Ship Theory with Maat Hydro in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture schools for many years now and also use it professionally.

My opinion is that this software is excellent for both purposes :

The students can use it very quickly for school projects (it is very intuitive, especially for Rhino users, totally free for them and almost fully operational for a single hull !).

Professionally, it meets all my expectations (motor and sailing boat, hydrostatic calculations intact and damaged, probabilistic calculations, etc...).

Stability booklet scan be obtained very quickly.
