    I was taught that in high school metal shop where I learned to weld in 1958. 8 years earlier a student was killed at our school welding near his car gas tank. After that if you wanted to weld on a car the gas tank had to be removed and stored outside of the shop. Safety is everthing, and common since leads the way. We saw some BAD burn pics also.
