Can splashed water from speedboats sunk a well-designed dragon boat?

    In May 2013, an entertaining dragon boat sunk in the training lake. It is said the accident was cause by splashed water from passing by speedboats. And the dragon boat sunk in ten minutes. Is it possible if the boat is well designed?

    A boat designed for protected waters can be sunk by the wake of a powerboat. It has happened often enough.
