How to go about checking hydrodynamics for a catamaran boat?

Hello!

I'm desining a catamaran boat. The dimensions for each hull :

Length = 14 ft. Beam = 2.25 ft . Draft = 1.25 ft

The catamaran should have a payload capacity of 4 people.

Now that I've designed a single hull, do I check the hydrodynamics? Or should I build the entire catamaran (with central platform etc.) and then do so?

Also, how exactly do I use the hydrodynamics and resistance tools to make sure the design is okay?

I'm a beginner at boat design running a deadline for project submission. Please do help!

What were the requirements outlined for this project ?

 

Lets have them play with it for a while, before we send them off to design ferries?

 

The catamaran is going to be used as a USV for environmental research such as measuring pollution levels etc. We will be testin it in calm waters at first and then possibly deploying it in the sea.

I designed the cat based on an existing design I found online.
