    Hi Guys and Girls,
I've been looking for some Metric plans for a Chris Craft barrel back 19.
There seems to be plenty of US plans for sale obviously; but all the plans are in imperial measurements!
Does anyone know or have any plans in metric measurements for such a vessel?
A great looking boat for my first build.

    Cheers, Sam

Conversions are as simple as spending an evening at the kitchen table, with a pocket calculator and noting the metric dimensions on the plans.

Some CAD systems even let you enter imperial and auto convert to metric as aswell as vice versa, so if you have access to one such, even easier.
I am not referrig to scaling the whole drawing but line by line stuff whereby the " is used (with values) when you use a metric template to give the correct conversion.

    Thanks Par and SukiSolo,
I do realise its not hard to convert, but I was sending on the plans to an expert boat builder to do some costings..... Was hoping somebody had built one in Australia, as one set of metric plans in a few words can sometimes speed things up, if you get my drift. Thanks.

I agree in the convenience of a metric plan and most designs from the USA come with both, at least mine do. If they don't it's likely an old plan, possibly hand drawn.
