Solbianflex panels are designed to work well even in particularly difficult circumstances and under heavy mechanical stresses typical of extreme ocean racing, the Solbianflex photovoltaic module is a true revolution in this field, being light and flexible but with a high efficiency and an outstanding resistance to weathering and degrading agents (thermal shock, fog and salt water, solar radiation), it is also walkable. The panel is made of special polymers selected by researchers of CNR (National Research Council): a patented technology.
Solbian produces four panel series: SP,SX,SL and CP.

The photovoltaic panels of SP series are made using SunPower™ monocrystalline cells, with an efficiency greater than 22.5%, incorporated in polymers with high strength. SunPower™ cells, thanks to their "backcontact" technology, have a very pleasant appearance and they also make Solbian panels the most efficient on the market.

Solar eXtreme panels use “full square” monocrystalline silicon cells with an efficiency larger than 19%. The new connection technology makes SX panels particularly resistant to impacts and less sensitive to shading. High energy yield and high reliability.

The flexible photovoltaic panels of SL and CP series are made using monocrystalline silicon cells with an efficiency greater than 18%, they are incorporated in high strength polymers.
