    I need to Calculate scantling for 20metre FRP Catamaran boat.Please help me anyone first .How can i start tell me step by step...

    If you are serious , I suggest you contact your nearest Naval Architect.

    Step 1 Choose and hire a professional NA or pick a stock design.

    20M is well beyond what any of the armatures here can help you with, and too big for the pro's to give for free.

    You might want to post on the scantlings thread under 'class societies'. You may get some good free advise and there are plenty of pros that monitor that thread for jobs.

    scantling calculation for FRP catamaran

    I have started my scantling work. I followed LR rule and couldn't find proper material properties for FRP.
    For need material properties of chopped strand mat E-Glass:Yield strength,ultimate tensile strength modulus of elasticity High tensile factor,Material efficiency factor.
    can u please me help any one

    You can change the forum if you want but what you should do is to study something related to reinforced plastics, their properties and application techniques. The scantlings may vary greatly depending, for example, on the technique you use to apply the materials, and other various factors.
