    If you look at the photos, they are pretty simple.

    One foot by one foot, ribs and stringers. Building a box in network in the floorboard. Of course, the keelson is bigger and stronger than the ribs and stringers. Skin with whatever material you want - nylon would be lighter than plywood.

    I would also build in flotation.

    A lot of rocker to the bottom, I would go with less, about 6" on a 16'. I would go longer rather than shorter for better control, and less speed.
