A new bilge pump monitor that will handle up to 8 pumps! Installation is fairly simple, connects to the existing bilge pump panel switches. The website even has a simulator:-: www.bilgewatch.com

Bilgewatch's unit looks kind of over-the-top there. Not sure I really need so much as a PIC watching my pumps, let alone something with a digital display and all. Not when Andina's little gadget can be easily wired up to whatever alarm/alert you please in whatever way you please! (Could probably even interface the thing to an old computer and have it email you when there's a problem, if you want to get all fancy about it!)

Andina's Beeper is fine as long as you are around to hear it. The bilgewatch Records all of the pump activity while the boat is unnattended and can trigger an alarm or cellphone autodialer to warn marina staff or you, that there is a problem. In general, boats spend most of their time moored, rather than underway and 4 out of 5 boat sinkings occur while the boats are at their moorings.
