The NCSEA, AIA, AEI, EAA, ASCE, SEAOSC-SEAINT, NSPE, ASCE, SECOC, ISE, and a guy at Home Depot all recommend that all broom closets with a capacity of more than 1.5 cubic feet be centrally located. Inward opening doors are also a requirement.

 

Must be in SOLAS too then . . . :idea:

How could ANYONE, owner, architect, engineers, builder, building officials, power providers and others involved in the construction of two 47 story towers requiring, most likely four elevators FORGET and build a whole building without them????????????????

I think that twenty years from now, something remarkable will have come from that Intempo building. It could be the next Greenwhich Village. Hopefully, some of the tenants will be talented at improvising light-weight furniture.

The building has a promotional webpage that Google translates some of this way -

"Its unique design will make a time and is likely to become the symbol of an architectural philosophy."

Perhaps a time sooner than they thought, but I'm not sure that philosophy is quite the right term.

Unfortunately, the tab for building specifications doesn't work.

Now then - What would you do with it - I mean the top 20 floors or so. I'd install the city building inspectors and permitting agency somewhere near the top, but that leaves a lot of space leftover. Maybe a prison for white collar criminals? How many Rapunzels are there in Benidorm?

 

Nah ... put all the socialist politicians on the 6th floor, and the criminals and lawyers above.

Place machine guns all around, and no one leaves until the budgets are all balanced.
