    A new design for a Carbon Fibre Kayak Paddle has been created and is currently for sale on eBay for $620. This paddle offers improved efficiency for each stroke as the blade out of the water remains closer to the surface, allowing for quicker and shorter strokes.

    You simply hold the cross shaft in the center horizontal in your teeth and hands on each down shaft, rotating your head side to side with each stroke!

    In fast waters you can simply spin it in your teeth as a paddle wheel :)

    Why do I get the feeling this is one of those things the seller has never produced but is sure it will work. I see the auction is only for pre orders and its not made yet.

    That sounds about right. As is with most things these days marketing supersedes actual product development.
