    The Bean can support 20 tons/ml . As the width of attached plate is 1.2 m, then :
    20 ton/ml ===> 20/1.2 = 16.67 tons/m2

    20 ton/m is the line load along the span of girder/beam.If you divide this value with effective breadth of girder/beam, answer will be in ton/m2.
