hard vs. soft chine hull for cat

    I think that on a rather heavy and low performance catamaran, the difference will be minimal.

    This is a very difficult question to answer, but the cat you list is on the fence in regard to performance and capacity (always the issue with multi's). She's not bad, but needs some wind to get her going. I have a mono that's 11' longer yet displaces the same. As Gonzo suggested, a burdened cat really wouldn't notice any difference between the two choices, though you can make fast cats in either configuration. The 1650X has some potential, so her bilges can benefit from decreased drag hull form choices.

    I like to stay with hard chine , which is easier to build (I have long table to make panels)
    What about hard chine hull and seaworthiness?

    Again, both hull types can be sea worthy.
