Can anyone tell me about this boat?

I saw this boat in Halifax today. It's beautiful. Can someone tell my what type of boat this is and anything about it?

It is sleek and very attractive, but before I'd cross the pond in it i would need some more protection.

Similar lines, though I thought the NY 30 had six lights in the deck house, not 5.

 

What bothered me most is the lack of Herreshoff details, such as the typical way the cockpit coaming ends on most of Nat's boats. And I can't figure out which one she might be.

There's a sailboat for sale roughly this style north of Seattle.
Near Conway.

 

Could be an old R class boat, I suppose.

The port arrangement on the NY 30 was unique looking for it's day and copied by many. It had a furniture quality to it.

 

She is the C-Class (C is for Chester I think) sloop Whim, restored by the the Halifax Maritime Museum.

Good catch Tad. I thought see looked too short for NY 30.
