I plan to install a tricolor mast head this winter when the mast is down.

I like the tricolor at sea for distance visibility over the wave tops. I like the deck level nav lights in close quarters situations--so will keep those on board. (never switch between the two when there is a mariner nearby that will be confused by the configuration change)

I could not find a switch panel that accomodates my needs, so am designing one myself.

Does the attached file look like a good start? Please excuse my drawing, I am not an electrical engineer, and I used Google Draw to do this.

This switch panel would be a subpanel off the main panel. I think... There will also be a small terminal block behind, just to keep things tidy.

    Circuit thoughts? Hardware suggestions?

    Corrected Diagream - Switch Label

    Changed erroneous DPST to SPDT.

Meh. Never mind. I finally found something commercial to fit the bill.

    The four circuit panel.

I'd rather go commercial than build my own. It's just when I started looking, all the commercial panels were monstrosities of complexity and insulting to the eye as well.
