What claims are you talking about Andy?
I only got involved in this forum after I saw some obnoxious nonsense posted here - to "enlighten" the audience as you said it right.
Attacks came first and that only mean that people here are not interested in discussion. They are simply frightened by change and innovation and wish it would go away. Relax, it won't. Try to understand and except instead.

I don't need to say I'm revolutionizing the sport - it's a simple fact and only a small but loud group protests it.
There at least a dozen single-handed skiffs that followed in mxRay's wake, Musto and RS that you like to bring up as examples among them.
Yes, some of them are faster than mxRay, so what? We pioneered the concept, others improved upon it. It's a win-win situation for the sport.
It's called progress, and only you and a small cohort of your peers refuse to see it.

The MX Ray is the only boat Ive ever seen Peter Bentley give a truly bad review to. This has been thrashed to death over many many posts on this and other forums. The boat was also reportedly slower round the course than a Laser. But I started by asking reasonable questions about your boats, and instead all I keep getting from you is evasion or how wonderful you are at changing the world of sailing. The SA forum on IC development is a good contrast to this - exceptional designers showcasing the best in current and future dinghy technology, and all with a distinct lack of hype and a good deal of humilty and self effacy about their efforts, not to mention complete transparency about their work. I look forwards to seeing your boat up against a Musto, IC, AC and other performance boats.

My goodness I just saw this. Speechless. And you ask me to say which claims I refer to? This is possibly the most arrogant thing I've ever read on this forum. All I've been saying all along is that there is very little evidence for you to substantiate these claims. The point of a forum like this is partly to properly discuss new ideas. It isn't 'revolutionary' just because you say it is. It needs to be proven. The MX Ray was revolutiknary as the first production singlehander wih an asso kite. It was also proven to be spow around a course. Which brings me back to the lack of evidence or dicussion about the points I originally raised. Your ideas are not revolutionary until proven.

    You are cheating sir,
    Here's what I actually wrote:

"I don't need to say I'm revolutionizing the sport - it's a simple fact and only a small but loud group protests it.

You cut just a small portion of my comment to launch another illogical and angry attack.
That's all you you are capable of doing.

    What questions Andy?

All I've seen so far in your posts is angry, irrational thrashing...
Well, at least my boats intrigue you, you just cannot leave them alone, so maybe there's a hope for you to eventually learn something and start understanding boat design a bit.

    So what are your questions?

No, it reads the same regardless. I gave credit where it was due re your use of assymetric kites on singlehanders. But there is little to no proof that your latest boat is 'revolutionary', and as such you must expect people to take you to task over it.

I never disputed that it might be a fun boat to sail. I did question why it was "revolutionary". This video does not answer that question.

Hmmm, perhaps the mx is a casualty of "cleverness" in the form of guerilla marketing. Short teaser vids, titivating press releases, forum posts...... trying to build a groundswell of frothing interest. I would think that the most basic marketing angle would be a cook off with a few single handed planing dinghies and show how it either blitzes them or how some novice rips like a pro because its so easy to sail.

Vlad, you really are doing yourself and your project a disservice. I dont know you from a bar of soap but you seem extraoardinarily evasive, argumentative and basically the kind of guy who I would not buy a used car from based on how you have handled yourself in public.

I love boats and have sailed a few dinghies but nowhere at the level that could evaluate the finer points of your design by looking at the design by itself. If I was in the market for a fun machine for my children or myself, I would want to know how this boat compares to the opposition. Thats in marketing 101.

Not sure a corporate sponsored video would be the best place to get an unbiased opinion.

I wonder what qualifies you as a marketing expert? And successful enough to give an unsolicited advice?
Show me how many boats you sold and I will decide whether I want to learn from your wisdom.

Finally you've admitted that mxNext is fun to sail. You are making progress - congratulations!

So now you just don't know the meaning of the word "revolutionary"...
No problem, that's an easy one. Here's definition, straight from dictionary:

"Revolutionary - radically new or different, marked by a radical change".
    This describes mxNext perfectly!

Do you have any more questions? - Only happy to help....

So how your un-corporate un-sponsored opinion is so biased?
    This is so silly...

    Vlad, that is the reply I expected. You really know how to operate a foot bazooka! I'll keep it simple;

1.Where in the development stage are you 1 being afloat and 10 being all the bugs ironed out so its ready to mass produce.
    2. How fast is it in 10-12 kts in flat water compared to an IC and a laser, upwind and downwind?
3.What level of skill is required to sail it?

Stop being so defensive, its not a good look.
