Mini 6.5 Proto with DSS

    Doug Lord Flight Ready

    I'm starting a separate thead on this boat because it is so unique and just started sailing trials. The hull is much narrower than a "normal" Proto but overall beam is about the same with the foil deployed. Instead of the canting keel on so many proto's this boat has a fixed keel. Here are the first pictures of the boat under sail thanks to Michi(developer of the Quant 28 and 30 and friend of the designer and owner) :

    All Mini's look small but jeez that one being narrow looks really small.

    I imagine there may be a bit more room in the cabin without all the canting keel lines?
