2001 Johnson 50HP Compression

    Hi,

    I am looking to buy a used Johnson outboard. Had a guy do a test on the two cylinders and they came back:

    #1: 135lb
    #2: 137lb

    Is this good compression? Does anyone know what the proper compression is?

    That is very good. My 70 has 110. 120.120.
