    Hello everyone,

My name is Lukasz, I live in NE Poland. Vocationally i am a night club co owner, but lately I decided to go back to my childhood hobby which is boat design and build. Since I have no experience at all I decided to start with the rc boats :). Here is my project of the RG 65 class boat. I know it is nothing great but I am trying to learn delfship. If you could give me the hint how to desing bulkheads, keel box etc. that would be of great help. Shall I buy the regular version for getting access to entire variety of tools? In free delfthip I cannot see anything for designing rigs or bulbs? Thank you in advance for your interest and input.

    regards,
    Lukasz

I think if you use the forum "search" tool (not the "search this thread" tool) for references to delftship and the very similar freeship you will find several threads discussing various aspects of these design tools. As far as I know, both are pure hull design tools and do not handle construction or rigging, basically they just help you design and analyze the hull shape. There are other boat design tools discussed in the software forum.

You can explore the American Model Yachting Association website (AMYA.org) to find numerous classes, many of which have elaborate design and building details. You may even find some useful advice and information about the RG65 class.
