website which calculates drag?

    I tried shipdesigning software but it is to complecated for me. Does there exist a website were you can make a sketch (and alter it) and add things like speed e.g. where after the website caculates the drag (so you can see the differences between different hull shapes?

    You can try Google Sketchup. Not sure if they have software related to boats. I've used it for other projects and had pretty good results. You can do quite a bit with it and it is fairly user friendly.

    Sketchup won't do performance predictions or hydro analysis at all. It's good for modeling interiors and excellent for rendering.
