    It's understandable why some wouldn't find this thread interesting. But it quite baffles me why someone who seldom makes a useful contribution to the topic of the thread would go out of their way to ask for the thread to be terminated. :confused: I've never seen such requests on other threads; why this one?

    Clearly, if the topic was out of line for this forum the moderator would have shut it down long ago. Although there are not a large number of active participants on this thread, the number of views suggests that there are a fair number of regular readers. So again I wonder, why would someone who appears to be uninterested in the topic of AGW want the thread closed?
