Well if the last 2 orders are correct the TP 52 class is now at 30+. As I raced with some of Illbrook boys I know at least one is in the shed now.

Frank - care to revise your "less than 20" estimate as it is only September and the class has passed 30 boats?

 

Well RC can save even a bathtub fleet. He isn't paid the big bucks for nothing. No I am standing pat. The TP52 class looses boats as well as gains them. Here is my theory on that distilled from Bethwaite design phylosophy

Sailing for comfort can not be defined except that it is in between sailing for speed where capsize is acceptable and sailing for survival which maximizes control and stability for the preservation of equipment and supplies aboard.

So what happed with the TP52s is that in requiring a silly LPS. - One so high that no amount of wind would be capable of capsizing the vessel - the box rule designers doomed the class to a status of training vessel.

Oh Sailsmall. I have already accepted nominations for board membership at a sailing society and so serve. The issue is that those nominating expect favors for doing so. Admit it Frank - you were BANNED.

 

First off, you do not serve on the SSSS board. Your term as secretary ended last June and you were not a candidate for re-election. Second, our bylaws make no provision for wrire-in candidates. Even if you were to be so elected (highly doubtful), it would be invalid.

As for SSSS being a Seattle corporation, this comes as interesting news. The only way this could have happened is if, as secretary, you changed the Society's legal address without board consent. SSSS sponsors no activities north of The Narrows and holds all of its meetings in Olympia.

Until Frank admits that he is wrong. Maybe we should just leave him alone-if he's ignored, he'll have nothing to feed off of.

 

Frank, that is just about either the funniest, or the most delusional thing I think I've ever heard you say. Every once in a while you might get something right, but it is sort of like a broken clock, which shows the right time twice a day.

So Frank, when are you going to admit that you were banned from SA?

We should have the SA forums up and rolling, perhaps tomorrow, certainly by Monday. We are proceeding thoroughly as we don't want this to happen again.
