    IMP-ish powerboater

That figure seems very low to me.

Now I'm imagining this boat as both a 30'-34' and a 25'! If it's that small with all this sleek bow, the low covered cockpit could be impractical for me at 6'. Maybe some kind of sliding roof could modernize it.

Im going to build it without the roof. I want a open boat. I just really like the rest of this boat.

I don't read the language. But from the spec's on that page it looks to be 7.65 meters, either LOA or waterline, with a 2 meter beam.

I live in the same region as that boat was listed for sale in. There's not much info in the text besides the dimensions and the fact that the ad is no longer valid. Based on the registration number visible, A-1458 I'd say, and some perseverence it should be possible to track the current owner.

She was built in 1953 and is the only one left out of the 4 built. She's coined as a spirits smugglers' boat but that profession had died a long befpre 1953 here. Built from "Canadian pine", oregen pine maybe, and mahogany. Powered with something called "MB 220" diesel and said to reach 20kn. That could mean OM615.941 pulled from MB W123 220D in here.

The boat in your picture is a real eyecatcher. Especially for we old guys.

You can build a similar boat that has a little less pizzaz,on the cheap. Dead simple to build too. I am thinking of the Bolger Sneakeasy which has the general look of the boat in the picture but does not have a canopy. It is claimed that Sneakeasy will go better than 20MPH with a 20 HP outboard. The outboard is almost hidden from view. If I can remember correctly it is about 25 feet long and very narrow.

You can probably find pictures and past builders with a Google search.

As mentioned it looks Scandinavian. A commuter. The area in the Baltic Sea ...Finland, Sweden has thousands of Islands.

Something is fishy with the boats sheer plank. It tappers to a point aft and has lots of exposed end grain. Not a good detail. The house is modern looking. Perhaps the hull is old and the superstructure is new.

    The Bolger Sneakeasy is 26' (7.9 m). Here's one:

This is a beast of a different color and era.

A lot more shape, style and substance than the Bolger box Speakeasy and more difficult to built too.

For me the superstructure is way out of proportion. Imagine the guy standing on the Sneakeasy in the cockpit of the Finnish boat. The superstructure looks really nice though.
