We are a group of young entrepreneurs looking for support on our new boating related project which, using a simple concept, makes it easier for crew to free ropes around propellers, clear mooring & anchor lines, assess and fix below water level damage, clean the hull and perform general maintenance.

If you're interested in supporting us, any help would be appreciated!

    Take a look...

Good concept. Does it need regulatory approval ?

All the components are CE marked and we are looking to CE mark the overall product on our official launch. The product has passed all our intensive testing and we will be making sure all appropriate regulations are met once it goes into production.

You should be succesful. Important to find the correct price point for consumer acceptance.

Remember to register the trade mark name . Boating Buddy. The actual concept is so simple that anyone could copy and market.

Perhaps even register a few more names for the product.

The advantage with your gear is that it is spontaneous and always ready for service. .

I have a dive tank on board...it is always out of air !!!

Cleaning props is a dangerous job without air. Some years ago I picked up a gill net with the anchor. It tangled under the boat .

I dove over with a knife to cut it free and the net gripped me. Luckily I was able to propel myself to the surface while entangled in the net.

    I could have easily drowned

That is definitely the main benefit, and it's genuinely so easy to use! We've had several people commenting on getting into difficulty, it's situations like this where you just don't have time to organise tanks etc. and the Boating Buddy could allow people to act immediately.

You will need a lawyer and an investor.

Im only a simple man...no idea how to get funding and I know nothing of lawyers.

The product already exists in numerous forms from numerous companies so what you need is name recognition and a cheap price.

The price of $643 per unit seems cheap enough, but the business start up goal of $41,000 seems like not nearly enough to make any significant inroads into already established names and worldwide dealer networks.

It's unclear what a person receives for making a "contribution" to your business plan. What percentage stays with the 'Think On' group and what percentage goes to the entrepreneur to actually build the business? What does a "contributor" receive?
