I have read a bunch of links.

My head is full of data. And it looks like some of the modern boards are extremely strong when built correctly.

Yes, you did answer my question correctly as well.

With all those loops of fiberglass, I have to imagine that it snags on everything in the shop.

It probably looks like a big fuzzy mess by the time it gets into the boat.

Think beyond the stupidity thought of the fuzzy mess !!

Those glass fibres are to help hold the glass skins together eachside of the core and help elliminate the peelability of the skins off the foam core !! this is just one of the reason i always disliked foams ! :(

Are the loops going right through the board, or just sitting on top. ?

a little thinking need to take place here !!

Why would any manufacture in there wisdom have there loops sitting on the top surfaces of the Foam on both sides ?? what purpose would it serve ??
Wouldnt it be more logical to pass the glass strands all the way from one side to the other all the way through ?? .

    Hello !!

If you remember we have has this very subject some months ago !!:D

If the strands went from one side to the other wouldnt they help to slow down the peel of the glass skins off the foam core !!.
OOps peel is not a good subject !! its a fact and its happens but we shouldnt talk about it !! Sorry !!

First of all, sometimes the stupid thought is really the smartest.

Peel, compression, adhesion, cohesion, and rigidity; I understand all these things.

But, that panel looks like a fuzzy snag-a-poluza, looking for a place to happen.

Wouldnt those pultruding glass fibers make it very difficult to properly consolidate your laminate? Bunch up perhaps? They look like something i'd peel off my core before applying...good idea, but i'd have to use it to be a believer...

We tried this stuff years ago, and it works perfectly. We never got it off the ground though, as supply times were long, and the stuff is a drama to stock (differeny foam types, densities, skins (WR or CSM, different weights), different distance between loops). Just too many variables, which made it a complicated product.

I asked a simple question and got

    "Hello !!
If you remember we have has this very subject some months ago !!"

as if I was stupid or forgetful.

I have no trouble remembering our discussions, so if you can keep your points informative and factual, it would be appreciated.
