Thanks Gary. Sid looks like a super ship from space compared to that bloated thing behind it.
Can't wait to see it with a wing mast at least.

Thanks also for the marvellous yellow"Miranda". Really shows off how modern looking a B24 can be. :D

    Modern?

I don't know about "modern", but it is really yellow;)
I am happy to see Sid is well on the way to sailing, and really does look modern. B

I hope you have had no further set backs with this bad weather Gary, what with the tornado and heavy rain (wind?) this afternoon.

Sid's wing mast is on shore, finished and ready to be lifted this weekend ... so should be okay ... but then again, could have been lifted by a twister and gone up in the sky like a boomerang.

    Never mind Gary.
If that happens, I understand Boomerangs really do come back.

I should rename Sid to Sid Vicious - because that is what the boat is like, accelerates harder than any other boat I've been on. My mouth went dry. The high tech fibre rigging immediately stretched like elastic and I had trouble with the runners fouling battens (needs shock cord to keep the loose one clear) plus other little things. Tricky to tack, knew it would be but I'll sort that out with more time sailing. Sorry no sailing shots, was too busy. Later.

Cheers Gary, well done. Looks like you can even haul these sails down which should extend your season.

Hey hey hey, good to hear & looking very vicious.
Any sensible comments about the foils already?
Do you use or plan front sail(s)?
Looking forward to some, sure saliva enhancing, sailing pictures.

    Cheers

    Great stuff Gary.
I'm qlad you didn't get any more damage in the latest bit of nasty weather which has recently come your way.
Looking forward to seeing "Vicious" ripping it up in flat water and good winds. :D
