If Monsanto can't keep its product on its own property it should be charged with some form of trespass and the yield seized by the trespassee.

Google Monsanto and genetically modified and you will find plenty of cross contamination incidents.

Farmers brought to court when Monsanto crop genetics were found on their farms. This is what frightens European Farmers.

Perhaps genetically modified is good for mankind ? who knows....hopefully our agricultural ministries and legislators are keeping a close look and asking the hard questions

I thought that Monsanto had also worked out how to stop grain from germinating so hence you can replant your crop you need to re buy seeds from Monsanto..they are a huge bunch of crooks

I doubt they'd prevail in any court where the judge and jury have a lick of common sense. In fact, as an organic farmer you could counter-sue them for destroying the worth of your crop.

troy the appearance of bee colony collapse disorder and the introduction of a new class of insecticide seem to run together as more than maybe circumstantial. Germany and some other nations have outright banned it's use altogether. The primary manufacture of the product is actually a German owned manufacture Bayer, but Monsanto utilizes the product on a treatment utilized on a lot of their seed products used in the states and are seeking approval to expand the seed line the chemicals are utilized on. Here are a few links you may or may not accept for at least a controversial "truth":

Bee colony collapse is an issue.

Its cause is still unknown. It would be premature to blame Genetically modified crops or any particular pestiside.

It has been suggested that electromagnetic radiation , urbanization and the rapid movement of virus and pathogens in the modern transport network could be a possible cause.

Doesn't really seem to be anything controversial in those articles. There's a lot there about a pesticide -- or rather, class of pesticides. But the accusation was that it's Monsanto's genetically modified corn that's killing bees, not pesticides.... and Monsanto is far from being the only user of those pesticides.

I repeat: does anyone have anything at all indicating that Bee Colony Collapse disorder is caused by Monsanto's genetically modified corn, or any other genetically modified crop?
