Dry cargo push barge

    Hello guys.
    I m trying to find the rules from any classification society (IACS member) about designing a single hull dry cargo river push barge.
    The design is a rake type river push barge with dimensions of 61.5m x16.6mx3.6m and it will be carring grain.
    Does any of you have any experience with that kind of designs?

    Please let me know if you can provide any info about where I can find the rules (i.e. society/chapter etc.)

    I d really appreciate your help.

    All Classification Societies have rules for classifying vessels Service Type = barge and a Service Area = sheltered waters.
    It's a totally normal boat.

    You can use BV rules for inland water , Texts are free on veristar web site another rules is DNV it's the same .

    Right, it is not "sheltered waters" but "inland waterways".
