    Thanks FishStrecher, yeah, I was going to call, seems some type of primer [surface prep] would work. right now it's still in the debating stage as to what finish I want to use...

    Their VE primer does appear to bond to epoxy fairly well, I haven't seen any actual testing, only anecdotal reports.
