    Well - thanks again all. I got all the wood out of the transom gunnel to gunnel. All in all I think it took me about 50 hrs. Boat Design folks have been the best source of info for my boat projects - I really appreciate the help.

    I think there is a typo there --you mean 5 hours surely.

    Nope - its 11.5 x 4 ft and I had to lay next to it to remove it. I'm probably not the fastest worker in any event.
