It is spelled anyway the Captain wants. You know it is considered rude to publically critisize spelling on the Internet. Contact me off list mighetto@eskimo.com with your spelling issues. This is a great board. Nothing need be irritating. But I think I may just call it Road Island, Future Home of Little Man Hansen and Sudie Parker AKA Tripp Gal. Some folks just do not get the west coast "tude."

Nope, no confusion here. Tripp Gal's posts are logical and well written. Your posts are almost as legible as a toddler's crayon drawings.

It's pretty obvious that you're jealous of Tripp Gal. She has a far nicer, bigger boat. She actually knows how to sail. She actually wins. She doesn't stall on port tack, hit the committee boat, and then try to put the blame on others. Give it up Frank, you are the only person on earth who agrees with you. The rest of the planet isn't wrong, only you.

Nice Secretary race series, DFL, DNF, DNF, DNS. Not many people can post that type of result and be proud of their accomplishments. It really gives a person moral authority to stand on.

It is considered extremely rude to knowingly mis-spell proper names on the internet. It is NEVER considered rude to point out someone else's rudeness.
It is also extremely rude to tell people that they are dead on the internet (see http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/showpost.php?p=32636&postcount=49)
I am happy to tell you that I am still alive.

It's rude to correct spelling mistakes but fine to engage in slander / libel and post outright lies - yikes.

Steve how are the 2 new girls comming? Will they join us before the 1st of the year or make their debut in KWRW2006...

    Defender,
New girls beginning to take shape. One should be ready for Xmas delivery (some present, huh?), the other later in the year.

We all feel bad for the disaster. But what kind of a charming competitor would use this event to lobby the good folks at macgregorsalors.com? Lets do act civilized. Please do not use this disaster for seaking acceptance. Tripp Gal's post on macgregorsailors.com is as follows.

Pass is underwater I heard from a fellow southern ex-pat. I can't get a line through Mobile or Pascagoula to check on friends. If anyone has info about Mobile, Pascagoula, and Biloxi I would appreciate it.

Larry King just showed Southern Yacht Club on fire. Such a sad thing when I remember the fond memories sailing there.

Our friends and family know they are in our thoughts and prayers, for everyone else who was in Katrina's path our hearts go out to you as well. For non-sailors when they see pictures of boats floating down the street or wrapped in the powerlines in someon'es yard they say "cool". When sailors see something like that it makes them just sick to their stomachs.

Could anything be truer, even for powerboaters, for they know the sting of losing a boat as well?

Why IS Tripp Gal posting on the Macgregor site? Seems strange that she is offering advice on how to use their boats. Should just leave it alone. And why is Frank NOT posting on the MacGregor site?

I think McMullett got banned from the MacGregor owners' forums long ago.

    Good question.

Not enough coffee this morning and all I saw was his link to redcross.org. Thought he was talking about there for some reason.

I retract my statement with my appologies.

I have no idea why she would be posting there.
