Finally have the first cabin popped out of the mould, just needs trimming up but for waiting til the hull is moulded then do it all at once. Have to say its turned out excellent. Hope the hull goes as well. So anyone thinking on getting a kit just give me a PM.

Ok the hull has lots a shapes and could be quite hard to lay with stitched materials but bouble bias and chopped strand matt would be the two glasses of choice .
    Hull bottom
    Gelcoat
1--300 gram chopped strand matt (wet layer )well rolled and check for bubbles
2--450 gram chopped strand matt + 800 gram double bias with a csm on one side could be close to 1000 grams plus total weight .lay with the scm against the 450 chopped strand
    3 --2 x 450 csm
4 -- double bias with csm facing up this time
    Hull topsides
1--300 csm same as hull bottom
    2--2x 450 csm
3 --- double bias with csm facing inside

Lay the bottom first and lap the chine 50mm round and up the top side then top side layers come down and round the chine corner 50mm onto the bottom so the chine is always doubles up ,( its a place that gets hit regularly and need to be strong so the 100 mm of double ups )
The bottom keel should have 100mm overlap each way so its 200mm wide all overlaps ,again its gets a beating and sits on a trailer double bias is easy to lay over shapes and is a good all round glass get you widths of the hull and check the roll widths to get the best width suited to your particular boat

Transom need to be 2x 20mm thick plywood glued together and a csm and double bias under and over . dont scimp on the resin when putting wood into the boat and if you must have a drain make sure yu seal the ply wood with a couple of coats of resin to keep the water out . me i never fit drains just a good bilge pump i hate holes in hulls !!.
My own boat can spend a whole weekend fishing and never get one drop of water inside the hull . :D

    Thanks tunnels for your input.

Ive been reccommended to do this as this is the materials ive got and i does look more than ample.

    1. 1 coat of gell with brush
    2. 1 coat of gell with roller
    3. 1 layer of 450 csm
    4. 1 layer of 600 csm
    5. 1 layer of 1200 woven
    6. 1 layer of 600 csm
    7. final layer of 450 csm

Keel will be overlapped giving a double thickness & bow may get an extra layer or 2. Your thoughts....

Yeah thats cool its a old laminant 1200 woven will have a coarse weave so if you notice is shows through on the first boat change the 450 and 600 for 3x 450 instead and use a 1000 gram double bias and the weave pattern will vanish but its all your choice!!
