If only we had a return to 'nation-based' crews, rather than the mercenary series we have now, where the country with the most money can denude the poorer of their talent.

Otherwise, they should give up on pretending that they are representing countries and just sail for their owners.

Gooday 'zoot' - Gosh I'm so pleased we all waited for so long - to hear such great words of wisdom from such an elevated expert as yourself.
Thank you so much for coming down to the level of us other mere-mortals to inform all of us as to how we should think & what are real true values should be.
I'm so pleased to see that you could also take the time and massive effort as to change the subject heading matter - so we could learn even more about other matters of improtance that you've taken so much of your valued time to allow us to learn from so we shan't make such a silly human follish mistake ever again.

I can't just quite find enough words to explain how I really feel but I've attempted to humbly express my un-dieing and eternal gratitude.
I'll be sure to hold my breath waiting - without loss of concentration for your next lesson from such a high (uya) place of knowledge as you have chosen to come down from - to let us know just how we should view all these happenings in these 'forums' & especially about this subject' of which only you know everything about & have spent such a massive amount to knowledge, time & money - just so we can all lern from you vast experienced (iyflb).

With the greatest of respect (iya) I remain - your humble servent, james.

I did nothing of the sort. I offered my opinion.

You're welcome, James! Looks a touch "hotter" than the other boat from that little country down there somewhere(Hi, Gary!).

hi Doug, but I don't like the high stepped bow - if they bury that far, that hull is going to slow from drag: that is very old school going back to the 1960's Hellcat C's ... whoops, we're tripping ... over we go.
But agreed, aside from that, beautiful looking cat.

Maybe its there just to break the spray off? Artemis recessed strake seems a bit higher...

Sure, then they get less surface drag and some bow lift from the spray hitting the step.

I have to look at it through a VPN, otherwise it says not available in your country.

Quite impressive ! Starts are even more important than with other boats somehow

So that was San Fran Bay?! Where was the wind, the waves, the drama?

BOY :!:, I'd sure hate to try and keep those bows from pitchpoling, particularly with that tall rig and the sailing conditions on SF Bay.

I sure hope they can keep it upright so we see some exciting racing rather than just dunkings.
