Sweep 2 Rails in Rhino - Surface Wont' Go All the way to Point?

I am using Sweep 2 Rails to create a deck surface on the hull shown below. I am picking the two sheer curves as the rails, and then the deck camber curves as the cross-sectional curves. When I do this, I am left with a missing piece of deck between the first cross-sectional curve and the sheer at the stem. (You can also see evidence of the same issue down below at the forefoot.)

Am I using the wrong command for these tasks? Or using the right command in the wrong way?

It is quite possible that the two rails do not end where you think they do. Check that both curves end, really, where do you think they do, at the common point on the left of the drawing. Perhaps there are more than two rails to form the contour of the deck.

I'm not even sure how to check that. All three curves at the top there originate from the same, single point (where the sheers meet the stem). There is only one point there - not three separate points.

I guess there is only one point. What I wonder is if, instead of two curves "rails", you have 4 different curves.

Oh, I see - no, there are only two rails. I just double-checked, and the two sheer curves are a single, continuous curve from the sheer/stem point to the transom (one curve on each side, I mean.)

Duplicate edges and join into one curve on each side. Your rails are not running all the way to stem. When you select the edge to duplicate you will see the end points.

nwaters - I'm not following you. When I used the sweep 2 rails command, none of the surfaces shown above were visible; only the curves (2 sheers plus the cross-sectional curves representing the deck) were visible. See attached. The selected sheer curve is a single, continuous curve running from the stem to the transom. The other sheer is simply a mirror of the first.

Itwill only run surface between the cross curves. If you want it to run all the way to the stem put a point on intersection and pick it as a final cross curve.

That did it - thanks. I had no idea I could pick a single point as a cross-sectional curve.
