    It says:-

"Are Fiat Currencies Headed for a Collapse?

As the investment world eagerly awaits more stimulus, a debate on a previously unthinkable topic has started to emerge – can fiat currencies survive round after round of debasement?

Some heavy hitters say the answer is no.”

    ..........................
    ..........................

Every single fiat currency in history has collapsed, this time will be no different.

    - but every single gold-backed currency becomes a fiat currency sooner or later . . .

Your prediction is like saying 'every superpower in history has collapsed,' or 'every single person in history has died.' If you wait long enough, it's bound to come true. But it hardly means collapse or death is imminent.

You will need refrigeration for the milk?

Why not hairless sheep/goats and sell fast food, instant (hot milk) "direct from the manufacturer to you" the customer... Reduced overheads and good cash-flow business model... - Hire them out to maintain lawns and fertilise gardens... Got income both coming and going :D :D :D

No. As usual I'm reading exactly what was written, and shaking my head at yet more inane drivel masquerading as profundity.....:p

    To clarify the position.

Masalai in a previous post said he could not read the article.
Just trying to be helpful I clicked the link, cut and pasted it into the above post.

I did not read it all and do not have the knowledge to form a view on it.

On advice from the moderator regarding copyright, I have deleted most of the quote to protect this site.

Given this is the jokes thread it wasn't that funny. ;)

    Thanks "latestarter",
I had no intention to cause embarrasment and appreciate your transcription - - If any joke therein it was on the venerable gentleman who attributed the content to you instead of to a link with content unknown... I thought it might be a video link as I understand that CNBC is a popularist-mass-media TV channel?

Thanks again, and Jeff, Please delete my 'request post' and others as it is not on topic but the text introducing the link cryptically implied amusing stuff... - Some people have a strange sense of humour, and I was quite curious...

Thanks very much latestarter - I realize you were only helping with masalai's request, but since he's seen it now, thank you for removing the full article so it doesn't cause a problem with copyright since it was copyright CNBC and reproduction prohibited unless permission is given. Appreciated, and sorry for the bother.
