Thank you very much for allowing me to join the group I am very excited and will enjoy working with your group (if acceptable). I have a passport but have to verify how much longer it is valid.
I was born and raised in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Growing up I was either on the beach, in the water or on it. From fishing to cruising to pulling lobster traps to just walking in the sand, I grew up with water and boats.
I currently reside in Richland Washington, moving here in 1990. We live at the confluence of the Yakima, snake and Columbia rivers. I live with my wife of 18 years and two children age 15 and 13. We try to get on the water as much as possible between work, kids sports and school activities. I enjoy fishing and just relaxing on our boats (21 Bayliner, and 16 foot open runabout). So if you can get here we can go fishing (salmon, steelhead and sturgeon).
I have a construction background, from remodels to building houses to commercial and industrial projects, I started drafting in high school, and have been interested in design ever since. As a carpenter I had to learn how to read drawings and blue prints, so I naturally learned to draw them as well. I have gained the ability to think in 3d space and understand how components work and fit together.

I have over ten years of mechanical and architectural experience utilizing AutoCAD and micro station 2d/3d software. I am training on inventor and rhino 3d software. I am also affiliated with a furniture design/fabrication group in Gorham Maine. I am attempting to build experience in the marine design field. I would like to offer my drafting/design capabilities free of charge in exchange for experience and the ability to broaden my skills. I am available for telecommuting, internet, and short travel projects. If you have any projects, past or present that you would like modeled or converted to cad please feel free to contact me.

Again thank you for the opportunity and I will do my best using integrity, humility and hard work to provide you, your company, and your customers, professional quality products.
