Post Curing

    Question about post curing. I have finished the vacuum infusion on a foam sandwich hull with epoxy. The hull is outside in the sun with a black tarp covering it. The temperature inside the tarp gets up to 150 degrees F.
    I'm sure it is already cured but my question is that if I leave it where it is for a few weeks, will that high temperature do any damage to the hull?

    Some core foams dont handle hi temps well - you might like to specify the type and dimensions of the core for expert analysis

    What color are you going to paint the hull? If you are going paint it white, then 150F post cure is fine. If you are going to paint it dark blue or black, then you will need to get it closer to 185 or 190F.
