To summarize our testing and observations we have made a polar diagram (not VPP generated) with main and jib, main and code 0 and same with reefed main.
Our testing was complemented by the newest Garmin GWS 10, two GPS and handheld wind meter.

that's a very nifty way of folding!
I have my own variation on folding a cat and now my proa ....
it's not yet in operation though, still in the concept model stage,
but it's good to see others making the folding systems work!

Our idea was to combine two movements into firstly sliding and then pivot as the beams are coming in via 60 cm( 2 ft) long sleeve. Amas are supported by water due to small designed buoyancy thus making folding possible and easy . On the trailer the floats are tacked away under the main hull without any disassembly .
The sleeve is acting as solid long holder once bolted to the deck (similar bolting takes place on Farrier system). Once the beam is locked in the sleeve the float is fixed via cantilever to the main hull. To reduce forces a two S/S wire struts will be provided for each float.
The sleeve made of marine aluminum ( anodized).
Sliding will be easy thanks Teflon strips inside the sleeve and ss strips on the beams. The beams require precise tolling to avoid jamming and special aluminum tooling will be employed to assure straight line and smooth gliding. The folding in will be also quick and effortless due to using the winch on the deck.
    Advantages:
    - TNT folding system allows for the largest beam compared to the similar trimarans thus extra sail area
    - ultra stable at 8.5 (27.5 ‘)beam on 10.4 m (34 )overall length = 82 % beam to length ratio
    - when folded TNT is stable whether mooring or motoring
    - very quick folding in by using winches of less than 1 minute which makes this
    - trimran practical for docking in regular marinas
    - floats are not subjected to marine growth
    - to trailer no beam or float removal is needed which saves time and effort
This is a novel way to approach folding developed by J. Kostanski in 2009 and subject to a patent

The german sailing magazine Yacht (21/2012) says, that the first TNT34 was ordered by someone who needed a strong propulsion in his boat to navigate in tidal currents so they used the position in the middle of the mainhull for a 30 HP outboarder, making the twin rudders necessary. The sailing magazine was not so convinced with this (and many other) arrangements of the boat and wrote a rather bad review about it.
