    Pure fun and then some

Wow, what a blast. Saw a similar video with a cat about 2 years ago.

ive been kiteboarding for almost 10 years now.... problem is the upwind performance is terrible :)

On a broad reach however, the power and speed is incredible from such a small sail...

    bad upwind performance

As you popped the critical question - bad upwind performance - any suggestion how we can improve this problem as we are currently working on a kite sailer - see http://www.kite-sailer.com and want to get the best out of it ...lol who does not?
    Thanks

Know sfa about kites but was wondering if they could be harnessed to help right a capsized boat, perhaps in conjunction or assisting other methods ?
    Just thinking allowed.

If you are very good in controlling the kite - they might be of help - still the risk of doing more damage than already done is high.
    But just my thought
