2003 250 saltwater series alarm

    My alarm has gone off on my Yamaha 250 Saltwater series outboard, it's not low on oil. Does the system need to be clean, and how can i do it or is it another issue. Marctees

    I had this happen to me and it wouldn't let the engine start, so I had to disconnect the sensor wire that led to an ECU and then on to the ignition. The engine didn't leak oil or burn oil anyway, but I just kept an eye on it. This was on a different kind of engine tho.
